Every year, Reading Association of Uganda organises or is heavily involved in literacy driven conference.
During these events, literacy professionals from all over the world are invited to participate and speak on the subject.
During the 10th Pan African Literacy for All Conference (PALFA) conference in Nigeria in 2017, Uganda was hailed for the good practices and milestones registered in promoting literacy, and was therefore nominated by the International Literacy Association – Africa Chapter, to host the conference for the second time.
